KENFLO vacuum pump unit is used in CNOOC Huizhou Refining and Petrochemical Company’s atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit

For the vacuum pumping unit of the atmospheric and vacuum system of the oil refining unit, the traditional way is to use a steam ejector, which is usually used in series with multi-stage steam ejectors. Generally, three-stage ejectors are used in series. The steam consumption of steam ejector is large and the energy utilization efficiency is low.

KENFLO Pump Company can adopt the combined vacuum pumping process of steam jet pump+water ring vacuum pump at the outlet stage of the steam ejector without changing the original steam ejector, which can reduce the operation cost compared with the conventional full steam vacuum pumping process, achieve obvious energy saving effect, and also have good benefits in environmental protection under the premise of achieving the same vacuum pumping effect.

 
The atmospheric and vacuum system of CNOOC Huizhou Refining and Chemical Co., Ltd.'s 20 million ton oil refining unit in Phase I originally used a three-stage steam ejector in series as a vacuum pumping unit, but the steam consumption was large, which was not energy saving and environmental protection. It was decided to replace the third stage steam ejector with a water ring vacuum pump. After knowing the technical parameters and requirements of the user, KENFLO technicians selected the water ring vacuum pump according to the user's process parameters. After using the water ring vacuum pump, it can not only replace the third stage steam ejector, but also reduce the steam consumption of the first and second steam ejectors.

After the installation, the commissioning and test run are normal. After the normal operation, the steam consumption is greatly reduced.
