2BW9 roots water ring vacuum pump unit was officially put into use in the condenser vacuum pump unit of unit 4 # of Shajiao A power plant

Shajiao Power Plant is the largest thermal power plant in South China, with a total installed capacity of 3.88 million kilowatts, providing solid support for the rapid economic development of the Pearl River Delta region.

 

The two water ring vacuum pump sets originally configured for unit # 4 of Shajiao A power plant have high power and low efficiency. The motor power is 160kW, the normal operating current is 250A, and the power consumption is 131kw. In fact, a certain amount of dry air will leak during the normal operation of the unit. The water ring vacuum pump set was originally used for pumping to maintain the vacuum of the condenser, but since the saturated steam pressure of water has approached the back pressure value of the condenser, As a result, the operation efficiency of the water ring vacuum pump group is low, a lot of useless work is done in vain, and a lot of waste is caused.

Now, a roots water ring vacuum pump is added to replace two vacuum pump sets with larger power, which are used to maintain the vacuum of the condenser. The original water ring vacuum pump set is used as a standby and during the startup and shutdown of the generator set.

After the generator unit operates under normal operating conditions, one water ring vacuum pump operates, one for use and one for standby. The circulating water system is open circulation of Pearl River water.

The improved 2BE1-202 water ring vacuum pump adopts the structure of four bearings, adopts the double eccentric design of the rotor, and can select the appropriate eccentricity of the rotor according to the dry air leakage of the user and the performance of the roots pump, so as to ensure proper matching between the roots pump and the water ring vacuum pump and stable operation.
